Transferring files from Mac to iphone

Hello! I’m trying to transfer video file (5GB) from my MacBook Pro 2018 (Catalina) to my iPhone 11 Pro or iPad Pro 9.7. To do this I just open my iPhone in a Finder > Files and try to drag and drop required file from Mac to required app in iPhone. Can I see somehow the progress bar or percentages of process? How I can find out that transfer is over? Every time a get half of the file on my iPhone/iPad.

p.s. I use usb cable, not WiFi for transferring
