HomeKit Invitation Spinning Wheel of Death
This issue has been ongoing, forever! Probably at least 2 years that I've had it.
My wife and I formerly shared an iCloud Account. Once Family Sharing was introduced we got our own accounts. We use an AppleTV 4K as our Home Hub.
But, I cannot invite her to our HomeKit Home. If I send her an invite, when she tries to accept it simply spins and spins, eventually downgrading me to a guest and she still can't control the home which then forces us to set everything up all over again. The same thing occurs if the HomeKit Home is created under her iCloud account and then the invitation is sent from her to me.
I can create the HomeKit Home under either account (my wife's or mine) and invite our daughters without any issue. It seems like it is just a conflict between my iCloud account and my wife's.
Really wish Apple would come up with a resolution for whatever artifact it is in our iCloud accounts that creates this problem.
