Apple Music Library on 2 different phones with same Apple ID

I have been trying to find this answer and I assume the answer is no, but are you able to have different music collections on two different phones with the same Apple ID? My wife and I share my Apple ID but not musical tastes. We just typically never listen to music at the same time so I don't really feel the need to buy a Apple Music Family Plan. Please help!

No. Apple IDs are not meant to be shared. Each person should have their own, so no reason to have multiple library support on a single Apple ID.
