upgrade my MacBook pro's software from 10.12.6 to 10.13

I purchased Turbo Tax and I have to upgrade my system software to 10.13. I was told 10.13 is not available when I try and upgrade. How can I upgrade my MacBook pro so I can use my Turbo Tax software on my computer?

how to upgrade my software I have a Mac book pro with a 2.5 ghz processor with the software 10.13.6 version. I would like to see if I can update the software beyond that.

Any Mac that is capable of Sierra is also capable of High Sierra:
