Can you start editing a movie in FCPX 10.4.8 on one Mac and finish it on another Mac? How?
MacBook Air
It is relatively painless to do, provided that:
1) Both macs have the same version of FCP X (and, ideally, also of macOS; but the same version of FCP X is paramount)
2) Your library and your media is stored in an external drive
3) Preferably, you store any Motion templates inside the library (so as to avoid missing templates when moving from one mac to the other); or make sure that both macs have the same Motion templates available.
If all the above obtains, just take your drive with you, and be merry.
