Battery Capacity

my iphone battery capacity has got reduced to 87% in 7 months i dont think this is normal. To top it all 3% got reduced in the last week. do y’all think that i should get my battery replaced. And will replacing the battery cause other problems to my device.

Battery capacity is not measured in months, it is almost totally based on usage, and specifically on full charge cycles. The phone is rated to remain above 80% for 500 full charge cycles. That works out to a drop of 1% for every 25 cycles on average. So a drop of 13% implies that you have done 325 full charge cycles on the phone since you got it. If you have a Mac the free Mac app Coconut Battery can tell you how many full charge cycles you have used.

Hmm, it seems a little low, but not too serious. They normally recommend a new battery when it drops below 80%. See this:

iPhone Battery and Performance - Apple Support

If your battery drain seems high, Go to Setting > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.

A new battery should not cause any other issues:
