iPhone XS Max AppleCare+ Coverage

I purchased an iPhone XS Max in February of 2019. I bought AppleCare+ which lasts 2 years. Last night, I dropped my phone in the shower. it shut off by itself after a while. I put my phone into a plastic bag with rice and left it there for the next morning. This morning, I was able to see the Apple logo from when you turn on a restarted phone, but that was it. It was also tinted green. This was all an accident, clearly, so is this covered by AppleCare+, and how much would the fee be?
