Apple Wallet will not accept my new debit card. I continually get, invalid card message.

I've gone through my bank to verify the card is linked to my checking account properly. I've contacted Apple support 3 times and I still get the same message: invalid card.

Please help!!!!!

  1. Sometimes if you sign out of your Apple ID and back in it resolves the problem.
  2. Check your Apple ID region to make sure it is correct (Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support)
  3. Check the region on your device to ensure it is correct (Settings>general>language & region - set to your region)
  4. A passcode is required to use the Wallet app.
  5. You need to be in a region that supports Apple Pay - Countries and regions that support Apple Pay - Apple Support
  6. Your bank needs to support Apple Pay - Apple Pay participating banks - Apple Support
  7. If none of these suggestions are able to resolve your issue you can go here for further assistance - If you can't add cards to Wallet for Apple Pay - Apple Support

Hi,

Yep, and I'm still trying to find an answer...It seems neither Apple or my financial institution can help. Neither company is taking responsibility for the issue. I too feel it is a bug issue, but Apple won't say...it's their way of forcing one to upgrade to a new phone.

I've gone back to using Venmo, since this was the main issue, I wanted to use Apple Pay, but obviously can't.

Time will tell.

Thanks and good luck.

Yeah. I switched back to Google Pay for the time being, last phone was a Samsung.

After reading how many other people have this issue, it’s definitely nothing I can do. Guess I’ll just wait for an update or get comfy with what I’ve got

Almost glad to see I’m not the only one with this problem.

I’m still searching for a valid solution since nothing on Apples site is working for this. It might just be plain ok’ bugged.
