My iWatch 4 was connected to my iPhone 8 Plus.
i had an favorite contact button on my iWatch. Every time I pushed that button I made a call.
yesterday I switch to iPhone XS Max. Since, every time I push my favorite contact button on my iWatch, it opens the contact data instead making a call.
How can I return my iWatch to make calls same way he did when it was connected to my old iPhonr?

"Open the Phone app 
on your Apple Watch.
To call a person you’ve designated as a favorite in the Phone app on your iPhone, tap Favorites, then tap a contact."
Change the watch face on your Apple Watch
If you have the Phone app as one of your complications, tap on the complication, go to Favorites, you will see your friend's name.
If you leave the Phone app and then tap on the complication again, the Favorites list will appear, so it will only take two taps to call your friend.

I didn’t do anything special. I just assigned one of my favorite contacts to the iWatch face button.
when my iWatch was connected to my iPhone 8 Plus, pushing the button called the person, after switching to iPhone XS Max, pushing the button views the person contact.
This happens on any iWatch face....
Thanks Brenden but I had one touch button to make a call.
on iWatch, I assigned a Favorite to a face button by scrolling the Digital Crown.
when iWatch was connecting to my old iPhone 8 Plus, pressing that button made a call to the Favorite - same as pressing Favorite button on widgets screen.
i want to do the same with my new iPhone XS max
