My I phone lost

My Iphone is lost yesterday and I ha r got a message today that someone has attempted to log in my AppleID , how can I find or lock my phone

My iPhone got stolen a week ago, the lost mode is pending as it appears offline. Today a got a message saying Apple ID was locked, I entered with my laptop and it is OK. Is sb trying to enter to my account? I received a message form apple saying my Apple ID has been locked. However I was able to entered to my account, so I thought it could be an attempt of the person with my phone to use it... Any thoughts? What should I do? Is there any chance they can access to the info in the phone? Thanks!

In addition to the above, you’ll quite possibly get scam notifications or scam phone calls claiming your iPhone has been recovered, and that you will now need to log into an “Apple login portal” to regain access or have the device returned to you or some other such justification. Apple doesn’t do that, but the scammers can and will want access to your Apple ID password.
