Hi all - I want to use Outlook exclusively on both iPad and iPhone. At the moment I have both installed until I know what I can, and cannot, do.
I have the same email accounts for both apps which have the same emails within. If I delete Apple Mail app will this have any effect on the emails contained within Outlook app?
If you are using the Outlook App and not the Apple Mail app, there will be no issue deleting the Apple Mail App or just not using it. Your mail will stay on the Outlook App you use.

I have Outlook installed on my iPhone and iPad. I use it as part of Oice 365 Exchange
