Not enough support

I have an iPhone XR which is still in warranty. I am not able to use it properly as the device freezes for a while and restarts whenever I multitask on it.

I contacted Apple support but of no use. Every-time they say that they will resolve but nothing happens. Why can’t they just replace this device as it is still in warranty and I lost 3 months from the date of purchase? It is frustrating to schedule calls and keep talking to them about same issue.

iPhone XR, iOS 13

There could be many reasons for your issue, hardware and or software related.

These are the basic steps you need to perform:

A forced restart of your device:--> Force restart iPhone – Apple Support

If the problem still persists, I would install a fresh copy of iOS on your XR. Start the procedure making a full backup of your device. Then restore it to factory settings and, in the end, set it up as new, folling these instructions:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings – Apple Support

When done, test it for a while, without restoring any data. If it works fine, you can exclude a hardware problem.

Then restore data from your previously made backup. If the issue comes back again, you could have corruption among your data.

I have followed all of the procedures.

I have restored the phone as new and the issue is persistent.

The repair centre installed iOS for about 3 times.

The support advisors raised ticket for about 3 months and pulled logs for the same.

I have shared the screen with advisors and tried to diagnose. Installed profiles sent by Apple, updated to the latest software version and was informed by one of the advisor ( Riya ) promised to replace the device , and they are not contacting me after the logs.

They are just sending mails stating that they are contacting me and are unable to reach me on my number. Such a shame.

Nothing seems to work.
