iTunes gift card

I recently purchased an iTunes gift card and when I tried to redeem it received an error code that the card was not properly activated. What can I do?

Contact the store you purchased it.

It was not activated properly when sold.

If you can't redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card, Apple Music Gift Card, or content code - Apple Support

Tried that, eventually found the right link to send an email. Extremely cumbersome and slow process.
