I challenge anyone to upgrade an older iphone like a 6 to a newer one without loss of user data with Apples BACKUP/RESTORE?

Hey, thanks for that info, already read it, again it is incomplete and actually glosses over more missing user data, time and cost associated with the user having to do many more steps and processes themselves after the restore(actually not a restore) to find their own data again....
Since this is your second post basically discussing the same issue that you have, why don’t you contact Apple support. I trust that your new phone is less than 90 days old so you get free phone support for that time period. Call them and explain what you are missing and let the, talk you through it.
