I have a new iMac Pro running Catalina 10.15.3 connected to home network via ethernet. Also on the network are a MBP 2016 and an iMac 2015 both running Mojave 10.14.6. The iMac is on the network via ethernet and the MBP via Wi-Fi. Connection to the iMac Pro fails from the MBP and the iMac but the iMac Pro connects to both the MBP and the iMac.

You might not have the right sharing settings enabled on your iMac Pro. You will need to enable these settings to allow other Macs to connect. On the Catalina iMac you might try turning on File Sharing via AFS (then off again) in Sharing > File Sharing > Options.
Also, delete any shared folder(s), and then add them again.
It seems that sometimes the sharing protocols need a little bit of a nudge to make themselves available to other machines on the network.

File Sharing was enabled on the iMac Pro before I attempted to connect from another Mac computer on the local network. I have tried again and although I can access all the files on the other computers from the iMac Pro, the connection fails when I try to connect to the iMac Pro.
