Outlook on iPhone not receiving emails but can send

For some reason my iPhone X decided not to receive emails. So this is what I have done my iphone is updated to IOS 13.3.1, I have un-installed and re-installed the outlook app. I have shut down my phone multiple times. I have gone in settings, general and deleted the network settings. I have reset the network settings. I have deleted the email outlook account multiple times. I have had advice from the outlook support group no luck yet.

So at the moment I think I have found the problem but how to fix I don’t know. Current message is IMAP Auto-discover failed. Please check your IMAP server settings and try again. So I went into the outlook app it found my account (email address), I click add account it then goes to IMAP screen. My email address is shown (correct) I click on advanced settings takes me to a IMAP screen. I need to fill out the host name/password for both IMAP/SMTP. Which I do know correctly the issue is the password when I type in the password for both IMAP and SMTP it shows the dots for privacy but as soon as I click on sign in at the bottom of the screen both the passwords disappear. Therefore the phone then says after a long time password or email address is incorrect I know they are correct but the password keeps disappearing why is that. Doesn’t matter how many times I type in the passwords they are there until i click sign in and they disappear. Sorry for the long winded question but I want to type all that I have tried.
