The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

Family Sharing

3 family members.  Set

up family sharing.  I am the creator/ owner.   I can install apps

from the other 2members. Member 1 can install apps from me and member 2. Member

2 can not install from me.  Don’t recall if member 2  can install apps  from member 1. (will check)  

Member 2 selects my app. The install starts spinning then it’s just stops with

the cloud coming back next to the app.  These are apps that member 1 can install no problem.


Member 2 signed out of all devices.  Restarted,  Singed in.  Same results.


I restarted all devices. Same thing.  


Removed member 2 from the family. Restarted the device. Added member 2.

Restarted devices. Same outcome.


In frustration I removed the entire family sharing. Restarted everyone. Did the

family sharing again for both members. 


Same results.

Can member 2 install from member 1?

Can member 2 download apps using their own Apple ID? Music? Any content at all?


If member 2 is having issues downloading their own content, I suggest taking member 2’s device, backing up, restoring the iOS software using iTunes and then restore the backup.

Just tested all devices again.


I can install apps from myself, member 1 and 2.

Member 1 can install apps from myself, member 2 and itself.

Member 2 can only install apss from itselft. Apps from me and member 1 start up and then stop with the cloud icon.

This happens both on the iphone and ipad for member 2.


I have an iphone and ipad and no issues with both devices.

Member 1 has an iphone and ipad and no issues with both device.


hope someone has an ideas. I does not look like its device dependant as it happens on both iphone and ipad.

Something to do with the apple id, i suspect but ?
