Final cut pro quit unexpectedly | Solved in one Step

I was working on a project in FCPX. Suddenly it crashed with a message "Final cut pro quit unexpectedly". After that the library on which I was working wasn't opening. Whenever I try to open it, in a few seconds it crashes again. It was really an important and time bound project, I search all over the internet for the solution but nothing worked for me. What I did?

Open the FCPX

Quickly create a new Library and then a new Event
Open the effected Project, Press Command+A (Select All) > Command+C (Copy) and then quickly open the newly created Event and Past (Command+V) in the new project. All done

You can’t save shortcuts to the default setting. When you created the shortcuts you had to save them. Resetting the preferences resets to the default. Look in the command editor menu. It may be called default copy. It’s saved into a specific location in the user library.

Whenever the application crashes make sure you Trash the preferences. Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application.

Thanks dear Tom, Trashing the preferences might help in some cases, but I just lost all my customised shortcuts after that...
