Where is the screen to enter a wifi password on an 3rd Gen Apple TV

I am trying to connect an apple TV to a new WiFi network. It sees the network. I select it. It give me an error that says my wifi password is incorrect, but I haven't even entered it... How do I get to the screen?

I would recommend resetting the Apple TV to start over again so it appears as a new device out of the box. If you have not done this before you can learn how by following the instructions in Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings. Once you have done the device will go through the setup process and ask about your network. If you continue to have a problem, please contact AppleCare. If you have not used that before here is the link to reach out to them. AppleCare Contact Information

It is also possible your network is controlled by the administrators to a degree that they will not allow a Apple TV on the network. I (and many others) have run into this when staying in large corporate owned hotels. They don't want a Apple TV on their network for bandwidth reasons. You would need to speak to the networks administrators about this.

Sorry didn't see this post until after I posted below...

I did a system reset, and it doesn't have any option to enter WiFi. When I plug directly to LAN (which has no password), I can get onto the network, but as is mentioned in other threads with similar but unresolved issues, it is a different network than the wifi network. My intent is to use the Apple TV to allow multiple laptops to AirPlay to a large monitor (for teaching purposes). So It is my understanding that the Apple TV has to be on the WiFi network to facilitate this.

Is there some way to force it to go through the wifi setup?
