BMW Bluetooth connectivity issue iPhone 11 Pro

Hi, I am experiencing the issue that a lot of others seem ti have had where the car will connect when starting up, but then disconnects, usually during a call which is really frustrating. Sometimes it reconnects a few seconds later but others it doesn’t reconnect at all. I’ve tried all the fixes suggested like resetting network settings, unpairing phone etc. Is there a fix? Seems it might not only be limited to BMW from reading another thread.

ios bug for Bluetooth in cars We think ios 15.3 has a bluetooth bug that stops connection to some car models that previously had no problems. Our Vauxhall meriva 2014 will show a call but when you try to pick up the call it disconnects the bluetooth but not the call. We originally thought it was the iPhone 12 that had the problem but upgraded to iPhone 13 and the issue has now started again after working fine for a few weeks. Hopefully 15.4 will fix this issue as removing the iPhone from the car and adding it again doesn't work, neither does resetting the phone.

Update to ios15 on iphone 11 Since updating to ios 15 I am experiencing bluetooth connection issues, especially with apple carplay. Anyone else having these problems? Most of the time I cannot connect with my bmw idrive system. Pairing works 1 out of 5 times and the connection is not recognized the next time I step into the car.
