Can’t update card details

I received a new bank card and whenever I try to update my payment and shipping details I get a message saying ‘’we’ve run into a problem, please try again later’’. Have logged into my Apple ID and updated all my details to match home address etc with correct card details but it’s made no difference! Any help?
