I forgot my apple id and password on my old iphone 6s im trying to give it to my grandma as a new phone but i don’t remember the apple id or password and its stuck on the activation lock.

Contact Apple — Share the Camera App:
Ask an Apple Rep to modify your eMail and password to what it should be. I don’t know if they would be able to change it, without seeing all of this up front.
So, using another iPhone, share the screen of it with them over the phone. You would open the camera App, and then hover over is over the iPhone you are posting about. That will allow the Apple Rep to see this up front.
Normally, it would be locked from here on out.

Activation Lock is a theft deterrent feature with no bypass or workaround.
Without the owner's authorisation, no thief or anyone including you can re-use the device.
