External Ipad Home Button Function required

The Use Case: Ipad is for sailing navigation and display switches off after X minutes to save battery while sailing. Due to I am 3 meters away on the helm I would like to remote switch on the display. No security enabled to directly jump in the open navigation app.

I have checked several buttons, switches .... with no function even as they are named as home button switches.

There is no internet while sailing. Also no Apple TV on board :-).

Is there a solution? Ideal would be a little switch in the pocket to press and the display is on like pressing the home button directly. Via bluetooth!
