i recently lost my airpods whilst attending school, my guess is that they fell out of my pocket then another student took them. I thought it would be ok because i can just use find my iphone to locate them. when i went to check my my iphone on my phone my airpods were nowhere to be found on the map, i had previously used find my to locate my airpods and it worked. but this time they were not on the map at all
the airpods does not have a gps so they do not know their location
the airpods only means of communication is bluetooth which has a aroudn 50 meters range
That is because the are out of range, out of power or they have been reset.
If you retrace your steps you might be able to look for them.
they have appeared before on find my but they aren’t even on the map now
Even if they were out of power or reset can we still be able to find them
mine were stolen so i can’t retrace my steps
But since you are hijacking someone else's thread, who LOST theirs, it really doesn't matter.
