ABM - Remove / Delete Apps

Dear Community,

We have an Apple Business Manager account where we register our devices and assign it to a MDM server.

From the past we have lots of Apps, which we no longer require.

Unfortunately since we made a connection between our MDM server and ABM all these apps are also showing up in MDM.

Does anyone know a way to remove apps again in ABM?

Or at least avoid that these apps are transmitted to a MDM?

Thanks a lot,

Chris

Never Mind, received a workaround for my second question from Apple Support:

  • Create a new, "dummy" site in ABM
  • transfer all unneeded apps to this site
  • optional: recreate a VPP token for your actual site and upload it in the MDM

Worked for me, apps are no longer in MDM.

Regarding my first question:

Apple is working on a feature to remove apps again. But no information when it is ready.
