A simple USB-A female to USB-C male adapter should work. I bought mine for $1.50 at a place called Daiso. Apple has this:
These are the ones I got. This is a 10 pack sold online, but they're $1.50 sold individually at stores in the US.

Or you could just charge with a USB-C to Lightning cable.

You don't have to charge it off a Mac. You can just as easily charge it off of a USB-A
power adapter. As for USB-C, there are lots of options including a USB hub that provides USB-A ports.
