microsoft word Office 365 photo insert problem

Hi

I've been having a problem for a while with inserting photo's into Word. I have Office 365 and when I go to photo's to insert into a Word Document they aren't available or listed. I used to be able to copy and paste into the document and indeed 'insert file or insert photo' but this isn't possible. It works fine in Pages. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. I am having to hotspot them across from my phone and then save and then insert. If I open 'photo's' they are listed but not when I go to insert in Word.

Any suggestions/help welcomed

If the photos you want to insert are in your Photos library make sure that library is designated the System Photo Library in Photos' preferences.

Also in the select file insert window click on Media in the sidebar and then Photos on the right pane:

What you are describing is a bit unclear. If your photos are missing, that wouldn't be a Word problem. If you are unable to search, select and paste, I don't know why that would occur. As for me, I simply drag my PDF files (photos) into my Word document where I want them to be placed and it works fine. So, maybe you should try doing that?

Hi

It’s difficult to explain and I was in Apple store today and they are unsure. Put simply if I want to insert a photo into word on my MacBook Pro I can’t see the photos in the programme “photos” thus I can’t insert anything.

maybe screen shots would help to explain?

Just tested and I can insert photos. Try Microsoft's help site.

Hi. You might have found the problem! The System Photo library is blanked out and I can't click on it as per below. Any suggestions on what to do? as per below
