apple watch

i bought an apple watch series 4 through verizon a little over a year ago, someone ran over it about a week ago, can y’all replace the device since i have a warranty on it? (i have insurance on the watch with asurion, and they don’t have it in the color i originally had, and someone at the verizon store said that we could take it to apple to replace it since we still had a warranty on it which is why i’m asking)
