I got my iPhone 11 3 months ago and its battery performance is already down. Not to mention that sometimes my lock button is unresponsive. Is it all related to the update? This is super disappointing !

Did you mean you checked the battery health and it's below 100%?
Remember, battery health is not 100% accurate.
Just in my opinion, my iPhone 11 Pro does not have these problems and is at the latest version of iOS, iOS 13.3.1.
I don't think it's related to the update, though if you suspect something wrong with your phone you can go to the apple store for help.
