Charging port

I tried pulling my phone in but the lighting cable doesn’t want to plus into my phone. It seems like something is getting in the way. It’s not dirt because I just bought this phone 2 weeks ago. Please help I’m freaking out.

Just because it’s two weeks old doesn’t mean something couldn’t get stuck in the port - check it carefully under good illumination.

Also, make sure you’re trying to plug in the Lightening end of the cable, and not the USB end - they are pretty similar in size.
