So I am very worried, because my battery health is 93% as of today and I have only had my phone for about 8.3 months. I feel like this is an abnormal decrease in battery health for my XR and I'm wondering if this is normal or if I need to get it looked at.

Batteries chemically age over time, but it should not be a problem unless battery health is less than 80%. Battery health is not 100% accurate, but if you find the battery lifespan going lower you can replace your battery at the Apple store.
