FCPX 10.4.8 Trial Version

Hi everyone.

I am testing FCPX functionalities, when I tried to work with sound effects I am unable to see the folder Final Cut Pro Sound Effects, I see all the other effects folders, but not the one I need to use other sound.

Final Cut Pro Sound Effects folder missing in Apple Loops Hey guys! I am trying to add custom audio clips and folders to the Photos and Audio sidebar in FCPX. I know I have to go to /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple/Final Cut Pro Sound Effects/. However, Final Cut Pro Sound Effects folder is not there. Furthermore, when I try to look at the sounds in GarageBand folder in FCPX (10.4.6), I don't see them either despite the fact that there's Apple Loops for GarageBand in Apple Loops. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

Deleted Sound Effects from Final Cut Pro Trial I'm currently using the 90 day Final Cut Pro Trial, and in an attempt to clear disk space, I deleted a bunch of random folders that I thought were useless. Now, none of the default Sound Effects that I had on FCP originally, are available in FCP. I've went from Finder>Go>Computer>Macintosh HD>Library>Audio>Apple Loops but there's nothing after Apple Loops. How can I get those default Sound Effects back? :(

Transitions & Effects on FCPX I have downloaded transitions, effects, and mLuts from a website and installed them into the folder I was told. I restarted FCPX, but it's not showing up. Am I doing something wrong? Or does the trial version not allow this? I have discovered, and it seems to be documented, that I can't install sound effects on the trial version, but I haven't seen anything about the visual effects?

So no limitaron in additional content.

the OP might want to check that FCP has Full Disk access in Privacy System Prefs, as the content is stored in the system.

I click over that option but I receive a message that everything is update....., Also I tried uninstall and reinstall but the issue continue. I read several posts mention what you said but nothing fix it so far.

It’s possible additional isn’t available in the trial version. I can’t test this.

Those aren’t the sound effects. Those are music loops. Try using the Download additional content function in the FCP menu.

Import from photos apps in the Photos and Audio sidebar

The above is part of the restriction, I'm not sure if Audio sidebar includes Additional Content or not.

I have no way to test either.

If the OP has iMovie installed it would be interesting to know if the iMovie iLife content, effects and jingles appear.
