If I buy a new iPhone in the United States will it work in another country for example New Zealand?

Hello,

my question if I buy a new iPhone in the United States will it work in another country for example New Zealand? Because I’m here in the US and want to buy a iPhone but I live in NZ!

It most likely will: iPhone - View countries with supported LTE networks - Apple. If you buy a phone in the USA, then the warranty will only be honored in the USA. Your warranty will not be honored in NZ. For that reason, alone, I would recommend against buying one in the USA. If you buy a phone in the USA that is locked to a particular provider, then you must arrange to have the phone unlocked before going back to NZ.

You will be charged sales tax on the purchase if sales tax is levied where you purchase the phone. If you stay in the USA with the phone for more than 30 days, then you cannot apply for a tax refund.
