i bought a new ipad recently and put in an apple id belonging to a friend. recently i got a notification on my phone (having the same apple id) that i get 1 year apple tv free due my ipad purchase. now that i changed the apple id on both my devices, i can no longer claim the 1 year apple tv...

The offer is available to the Apple ID you set the iPad up with.

If you changed it after setting it up, you will need to contact iTunes Support and see if they can fix the issue.

Also The offer is for Apple TV +, not Apple TV!
