Safari Search Always Redirects to Chinese Google

Hey guys,

So, whenever I search something directly on Safari’s URL bar, I always go through this page where I have to click another google link that redirects me to a Chinese Google result (refer to the image).

I bought my iPhone in China when I was living there and currently I live in HK. I thought all iPhones just do the same thing when you search directly on the URL bar but turns out my friend’s iPhone doesn’t do this.... Is there a way to remove this redirecting problem? It’s super annoying because whatever I search for, I always get a Chinese result (even if I search in English or Korean, I get the Chinese ones first)

iPhone XS, iOS 13

Sounds about right. China has imposed quite a few restrictions on tech products sold there. Wouldn't want the citizens to think naughty thoughts, would they?
