My iTunes informs me that 12.10.4.2 is the up to date version. While Apple does release new versions of iTunes in a staggered way, I am not aware of any new version today.

Are you sure the message is about iTunes and not about your iPod/iPhone?

If I'm not mistaken, when using a Beta version, you need to consult the team that you got that version from.

Yes, I had that problem too. It was resolved once I upgraded to the latest iTunes 12.10.5.12

I have the same issue with an 11 and 11 Pro. Both old phones had Beta profiles and I backed them up before upgrading.

When I go to restore from backup, my iTunes (Windows 10) is looking for an update to 12.10.5 that does not exist yet.

Any ideas in an update?

It would appear that Apple released a version of iOS that required a version of iTunes that was not available at that time.

Let's hope that Apple is not writing software for self-driving cars!
