Green dot in iPhone 11 pics

I took some pics of a sunset last night and noticed a green dot in the pic. I was able to maneuver the phone position so the green dot “melted” into the sun, but some compositions did not allow this. This problem has existed at least since iPhone 6, according to the posts on this forum. Blitzkrieg27 https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6565527?answerId=6565527021&page=2 gave a good explanation to the problem. Here’s what is posted By Blitzkrieg27

“I have done some seemingly conclusive research and it appears that the dot comes from the "potency" of the suns rays bouncing between the sensor and the glass. Apparently dslr cameras can experience the same problem. Long exposure to the bright sunlight can damage the sensor and this leads to that and the camera experiences a blue/green dot. It is almost unavoidable with non-manual shutters.”

Here’s my question: Does anyone know of software that will automatically “erase” the green dot?
