When my Apple TV is in sleep mode and I try to turn it back on with the remote, it doesn't turn on. No matter what button I press. I can use Siri and say "turn on the TV" and that works, but the remote and remote app don't. I tried restarting the TV, but no difference was made.

Only the Menu button and TV/Home button can be used to wake the Apple TV with tvOS 13. The touch surface that could be used with tvOS 12 is no longer functional for this function.
