I have been informed by ElementCASE, you will be able to add your own engraving to there product later on down the line.

I would like this product if it has the same bottom as the Apple Bumper as in has 3 holes in the bottom(1 for the speaker, mic and charger) rather then one big hole. also the removal of the logo which i take it will happen when they allow us to engrave own logo's or name in.

I am sure you have all seen this case befor. Has anyone on here received this case yet from the 1st pre-order?

Recieved the case yesterday. All I can say is the case looks great, my after market stereo dock fits fine. The ear jack is a little small. As for reception I have no issue with it. Actually seems a little faster on data than before. 1.9 mb DL and 1.1 mb UP prior. Last speed test was 2.4 mb DL and 1.8 mb UL. This could just be a coincidence. Hope this helps. Again th only thing I don't like is the earphone jack opening, and hard to contact Elemnet.

Update from there website - August 14th 2010

Dear Vapor Pre Orders,

This week we will be caught up with all paid back orders and are working to build and ship orders from group 4.
After shipping these orders, we will invite a new group of pre order customers to place their order. We are on schedule to build and ship your order within 5 to 10 business days. We will also continue to offer exciting new colors and finishes!

Vapor Cases are sought after because of their style and rarity. They're made in the USA and built to order.

They take time to make and always will, but premium products are worth the wait.

This is a joke. I preordered it twice or even thrice since the iPhone 4 release. If you can call it "preorder". I filled out their form online.

They "can't make enough bumpers", they "can't make enough vapor cases", but they can make enough iphone 4s? Where are the proper reviews?

What "group" am I in? 20th? Their next excuse will be that the US. customers will be served first... Then the rest of the world. If at all.

I received my case today and it indeed is a good quality case. No signal issues but will test it over the next few days to verify. I am not sure if I am going to keep it, it doesn't fit in my iHome alarm clock, Alpine car stereo or my other car charger I use in my work truck. If I can find an extender I might keep it or will be putting it on ebay.

Received my Vapor 4 on Saturday--it looks incredible and really makes the iPhone stand out as a real thing of beauty. I am doing some extensive side-by-side comparison speed tests over the next week with my iPhone 3G and other iPhone 4's with an Apple bumper to get a speed comparison.

Initial analysis shows I get the same number of bars as the other phones....more real-world time is necessary to get a good feel for this.

Anyone else have a Vapor 4 and notice any change in 3G speed?

Unfortunately, I had to remove the beautiful Vapor 4 and revert to the tried-and-true Apple bumper. My reception with the Vapor 4 was abysmal. I went from an average of 1500 Kbps up and down to around 200 down and 400 up--I'm not sure why uploads were consistently faster. I was constantly having to resent failed text messages, unable to load a web page, and suffered long delays in any web app communication.

I cannot recommend the Vapor 4 and am expecting a full refund.

This is truly a sad day...

The Vapor 4 is made of the highest quality, there really aren't sharp corners, but if it is installed hastily I could see it may scratch your phone. There are actually soft rubber-like pads throughout the inner rim of the Vapor 4 to cushion and "lift" the metal frame from the iPhone 4 metal band.

Either way, based on the severe degradation in reception I would wait for the next version of this case to be released.

Just received an email stating that I now can order my new vapor case and I have 72 hours to do so. I ended up ordering one, the black AR15-V. Even though there was so many negatives I want to try it myself. I quite like it and this is stronger then my will o_O

I will let you know what I think. It will take some time before I get it...
