Mail App/iCloud Threading Issue

I have an issue with my iCloud account in the mail app on iOS 13. I've tried enabling/disabling all of the different threading options, even deleted the entire mail app and added it back and nothing has resolved the issue. The problem is I create an order for a website which sends me an different types of emails: acknowledgement, status, delivered, etc. All emails are from the same address with the order number in the subject. I get the new email as unread in the app, however when I click the new message, the content that displays in the reading panel is that from a previously placed order that is likely in trash, archived, or still in the inbox. If I login to iCloud in a web browser and go into mail there, I see the correct content and everything appears as expected. Seems to only be an issue on my iPhone and iPad for my iCloud address. I've not noticed the issue with non iCloud accounts using the mail app.

Hi MacsManiacs,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. I understand that your iCloud email account in the Mail app on your iPhone and iPad are showing previous threads when checking emails.

I'm glad to help with this.

Since these emails are showing up correctly when checking them on the iCloud website, try removing the iCloud account on your iPhone, and then adding it back in.

This explains how: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, here is some information about organizing an email conversation by thread:

Take Care.

Hi MacsManiacs,

Since this issue is still there after removing the account from both devices, and adding it back in, but is correct on the iCloud website, this could be an issue with how the emails are getting from iCloud to your devices.

If it looks like all your email has gotten from our servers to your iPhone and iPad, and it's not a matter of waiting for them to populate, I suggest reaching out to Apple Support directly, so that they can take a closer look with you.

Best Wishes.

Tried that and still the same issue. Have all of the threading options turned off on both devices. Now an email on my iPad that should be one received this morning at 10:40am CDT is actually one from the day before received at 12:30am CDT. Same email on my iPhone is correct in the list but the content is from an email received on 3/5/20. Mail client in browser is still correct.
