Received a call with an automated voice, telling me there has been a hack of my Apple ID

I just received a call with an automated voice, telling me there has been a hack of my Apple ID detected, and that I should not use my Apple devices for financial transactions. The call indicated on my phone call security was 800-****-1919. The strange thing was that the number did not trigger any part of my phone call security—not recognized, no spam level potential, etc. And when I Googled the number, all references were for a cardiac evaluation service! And I have not received any alerts from my various fraud alert services. Anybody else experience this?

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
