Someone used my @icloud.com email to set up an account and make a purchase at Footlocker and open an account on eBay. How do I put a stop to this? Footlocker and eBay are totally non-responsive.

Apple did not inform me; I got an email first from Footlocker and then eBay, sent to one of my @icloud.com email addresses (an alias, I guess?) I have 2FA turned on so I know the person or persons have not hacked my account, per se. What they appear to be doing is using that email address/alias to open accounts using my name. It also appears, so far, that my bank accounts have not been hacked. I guess what I'd like to know is, is it possible to delete that alias or somehow lock it down so it cannot be used for that purpose. If something goes south or the other party is heading to illegal means, I can be on the hook for actions I did not take.
How did you know it's Apple informing you?
Do you have 2 factor authentication?
It's a scam, ignore it.
