Adobe Flash Virus

I clicked on the pop up that said to update adobe flash drive. I have tried the simple solutions like trying to remove the extension etc. While on the internet it constantly redirects me to fake sites. any suggestions?

1. Force Quit Safari.

    Make Safari active.

    Click  in the menu bar, hold the shift key down and choose “Force Quit Safari’’

    Safari  will quit.

2. Launch Safari holding the shift key down.


3. Remove all Website Data 

    Enable Develop menu, click Develop in the menu bar and then “Empty Caches” twice.

4. Remove all Website Data except ones  from Apple, iCloud, ISP and your banks.

      Quote:


    • Remove stored cookies and data: Click Manage Website Data, select one or more websites,

then click Remove or Remove All.

                Removing the data may reduce tracking, but may also log you out of websites

or change website behavior.

5.Clear History.

   Click History in the menu bar and then “Show All History”.

   Remove all items listed under “Last visited today.

6. Uninstall Adobe Flash Player.

7. Restart the router.

8. Check for adware.


       Run the latest release of Malwarebytes for Mac to remove malware/adware, if installed on your Mac.

Hey so your having a few issues with your safari right, don't worry it happens to the best of us, we all make mistakes, so I just want to ask for you to restart your Mac as macOS includes a built-in tool that removes known malware when you restart your Mac. If that fails I have left a little article that might be of some assistance
