I bought an Apple tv without a remote control (remote control ordered separately) is there any possibility of control via iphone? I have applications, but I need a code for apple tv, which can't be done without a remote control.
You could temporarily borrow one, to help set up the iOS remote app.
You could hassle with a bluetooth keyboard, to help set up the iOS remote app.
But other than that, you do need a physical remote with the Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation).
