Problem with wifi

I have a problem with connecting to wi-fi in my macbook since today’s morning and it was working yesterday.

the wifi is working in my other devices except in the mac. I’ve also used another wifi but its still not working

i restarted my mac several times.

an important point to mention is that i’ve changed my iCloud account yesterday but I don’t know if it’s related...

Hi Amiiira,

Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712

System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.

The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.

Sys Prefs>Network>highlight the Interface you're using>Advanced>TCP/IP>Configure IPv4: Using DHCP.

If using Wifi, instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

System Preferences>Network>choose interface>Advanced>Proxies Tab, make sure none are set, like for HTTP & HTTPS.

System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

1.1.1.1

9.9.9.9

Apply.

We will hope you are successful with the advice given above. Just in case you are not, when my Mac Mini refused to connect to my home network (although all other devices were working) I finally had to change the name(SSID) of my home network. (I have FIOS from Verizon, and their iPhone app MyFios provides that capability.) My Mac connected after that, but (be warned) I then had to reconnect all my other WiFi devices (an old MacBook, two iPhones, two iPads, two printers, two PC laptops, a water leak detector.)

My WiFi connection to my MacMini broke (this is the second time!) when I inserted a 64GB SD card into a HooToo USB expansion adaptor (??). It is a really a pity that the extensive (~250GB) WiFi Diagnostic reports generated by Apple's WiFi diagnostic feature are no longer sent (or sendable?) to Apple, so weirdness like this might be understood.

Good luck!
