My google maps app is showing some lag and significant jerk when in use. The same applies to zillow- it is like the gps module is not fully functional.
All my apps are up to date. My wife has an XR as well and no issue at all.
I do have a screen capture of the behavior (video) that i would like to post but do not where it would be best to convey the message to the team here.

Try these two troubleshooting methods. Perform a Restore only if Restart doesn't solve your issue.

To test if it’s a hardware issue, the phone has to be in physical possession of the testing specialist, which is problematic these days. Apple may still be accepting devices for repairs via mail/overnight. To confirm, start with the Contact Support button app t top-right of this screen.
Thanks. This is why I pointed out that the same iPhone model with the same software versions (my wife’s) does not have the same issue. This differential analysis points to a hardware malfunction.

It’s up to Apple, but “repairs” often consist of replacement with “guaranteed like new“ refurbished models, sometimes with new units. It’s all spelled out in their warranty.
If you do send it for repairs, assume the unit you’ll get back will not be yours, so make backups of everything first.

I tried restarting the phone, no help. This behavior started immediately after purchasing the product two months back. Since then i was hoping that software updates would fix it but to no avail...
Do you know it Apple can simply replace the product?
