A couple of additional suggestions - that apply regardless of the method by which you obtain your network connection...
If you are suffering unexpected network connectivity issues, first try a “refresh” of your DHCP settings - or try manual configuration of the IP Network Settings - on your iPad.
Another cause of internet connectivity issues are unexpected “port” or “address” blocking by a firewall - or if working at home, your Home Router. For the former, you’ll need to contact your network administrator for assistance; for the latter, a restart of the Home Router can be effective.
To restart your Home Router - disconnect power, wait 30 seconds, then restart. Allow a few minutes for your Router to reboot, after which your should force-restart your iPad:
- Models with the Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
- Other models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
I hope you find this to be of some help in resolving your connectivity issue.
