Impulse 49 sending with Zones on; channels set but LPX plays all channels

I have my Novation Impulse49 controller setup for Zones so, have one range sending on MIDI Ch1, Zone 2 sending on Ch2, etc.

...but when I assign those respective Channels in LPX I don't get the instrument separation I expect.

Playing c2 on the keyboard i.e. plays instruments assigned on that Zone PLUS all the other Zones. It's as if LPX doesn't care that I assigned a specific MIDI channel number to it's respective Channel Strip.

What am I missing in setup of my LPX instruments?
