Need high quality FCPX export settings

Hello! So i record gaming videos at 1080,60 at 40000 CBR on OBS. They look very crisp and high quality, even in the playback of the final cut pro x editing software. However, after I export the video, it's noticeably grainy. I feel like i'm using the wrong encoder or something, because there is no reason these videos shouldn't look high quality. I've considered switching over to premier due to the lack of encoder options. Any tips? I'd rather stay with FCPX because I'm used to it, but I need to prioritize quality over comfort. I just use the regular H.264 video codec.

If you have to use H.264 then FCP gives you no control of the bit rate, and it’s certainly nowhere near that high. If you want high quality output you can use ProRes, or you might considering using Compressor with FCP, which gives you more control over formats and bit rates.

What are the exact settings you are using for export? Master File - Computer? Master File - Video and Audio? Apple Devices?

Edit: In addition to what Tom said: if you don't have Compressor, you may try exporting ProRes and then encoding to H264 with HandBrake. It is free and also offers a lot of customization.
