Cannot Play Movie in MacOS Catalina TV app

A downloaded movie will not play using the TV app in MacOS Catalina.  When attempting to play the movie, the display slides to a black screen and then immediately bounces back to the TV app.  The movie file has a .movpkg extension with a small lock icon in the upper left corner.  This is the only movie in my library with a .movpkg extension, and the only movie I’ve found that will not play.  I have tried removing the download from the library and downloading the movie again.  I get the same result every time.
